You will see a date on I-485 only if you filed I-140 & I-485 concurrently. Even my I-485 does not have any priority date.
Do you have Pritority Date written on your I-485's notice of action? It's blank for me.

I got the e-mail saying that they have mailed my 485 approval notice on August 4 - but nothing after that - will the notice come to me at home or will it go to the lawyer - also how long before the card production e-mail gets here - not that I am in a tearing hurry - I have waited several years so what is another month ?

The culprit being subjected to Gandhigiri (Gandhi-ism: A strategy to win unjust,corrupt mind by highly unexpected pleasant deeds.)has some shame and self respect.If the target is a moron, he would slap you to death, no matter how many chances you give him.
In our case we don't even know who the culprit is (USCIS/DOS/Capitol Hill/Anti-Immigrants/Lobbyists). The only thing that would come out of these flowers is a security alarm. I know many would take this as a negative approach, but this is the most logical outcome of this action.
On a lighter note, if sending flowers/fruits would have won hearts of the immigration officers, imagine how easy GC would be for those illegal immigrants who work on the farms.

My attorney just emailed me, she received receipt notices for 485, EAD and AP for both me and my wife.
My application was received on July 2nd 9:01 AM, if it matters it was signed by R Mickels. Also, there is no LUD change on my I140 application, so I guess LUD changes on I-140 mean nothing.
I have not seen the notices yet so I dont know what the notice dates are.
Did the checks got cashed. ???

Opened an SR yesterday with USCIS for FP.
my 485 was filed with TSC on july 17 and have got EAD and AP but no FP so far.

EB2 -> PD Sept 2003
I140-> Applied to NSC-> Approved by TSC->March 2007
I485->Applied to NSC -> Delived to NSC on 26th June-> checks cashed on Aug 9th by TSC
TSC is moving like a snail. Last week we saw just couple of cases getting receipt or checks chased for Jun 26 or less and even this week TSC has not moved a day.
Is there anyone who got their checks cashed for the TSC case submitted to NSC on June 27th onwards?

Dear Members
For those of you joining us late, here is some info about this thread.
1. This is to do our least part to the core IV Team for their selfless sacrifice, for all of us getting the benefits of legal immigration. Note that , Aman Kapoor , the co-founder of IV has done his part by sacrificing $64,000/- from his own personal funds towards the administrative costs of IV. Yes you read it right , it is $64,000/- We come to know from his co-worker that he has sold his house towards running this show for us.
2. We have not yet figured out a way to reimburse these costs as IV does not yet have administrative costs part of the expenditure allocation, as we understand it. So instead of a wait and watch, we decided to go ahead with collecting the pledge from the members on the amount they are putting forth for reimbursing the amount. Once we come up with a strategy(members we look for your suggestions on how to get this done, please add your comments) we will instruct the members pledged to pay out.
So do not pay it directly to the IV core funds, yet.
Please help us spread the message about this thread in other threads by copy and pasting the following in other threads too.
There is a funding drive in this other thread towards reimbursing Aman and other core IV member's expenses towards the administrative costs of IV.

My date will be current next month. But I got fingerprinting notice, and the appointment is on Sep 17th . Does that means will I have to wait until my FP is done to get the approval?. Please suggest me is there any way I can get my FP done prior to the scheduled date. This is my 2nd FP notice. First one was in Feb 2008.

My frined got receipt from TSC yesterday, his attorney sent package them on 31st , I think they got it on June 1st. He has not got finger printing notice yet.
I applied on May 18th 140/485 Nebraska, Got receipt on May 28 from TSC with finger printing schedule after 2 weeks. 140 got approved on 23rd May.
Friends, My friends is saying if the New bill approves then we might have to re-apply again, even wealready have applied 485, is this True? I am bit confuse, I aksed to my Lawyer he said your Labor and 140 is New , he cannot tell anything at this point. If the person is already applied and waiting for Card should be effected, any opinion?
