o Yes, mine is a NSC->CSC->NSC transfer case.
o I spoke to an IO at NSC around the last week of October and she told me she is going to schedule it, but was a little apprehensive as I trashed some mail without going through it properly (so that was my fault). My main intention on getting an infopass appointment was to make sure that I did not miss any scheduled appointment, which was confirmed by the IO.
o My case was recd. at NSC on 9/21 (Not sure when CSC transferred it). My Notice date is 9/10 if that helps.
o Not sure what you mean by "What is FP data?", did you mean "date" instead of "data" ? If so, I don't know. All she told me was I was in the queue, which I am assuming is their internal queue.

Could you tell when case was transferred to NSC and when NSC received it? What is the FP data?

People shouldn't get too panicked. It's not like uscis is denying all cases.
Before it was rare now they are just getting more difficult. California rfe's are a little difficult and unless y you make sloppy mistakes; they generally approve them.
vermont is where they are going above and beyond in scrutinizing cases. Most companies who file through california are used to the issues and have adapted. However; what vermont is doing is fairly new and companies in vermont region are not used to the expectations of that particular service center since they were very easy in the past.

My application reached NSC on JUN 1st. Recepted on Jun 5th. checks cleared 8th June. Received receipts on Jun11th was mailed by NSC on 7th June. I am still waiting on my wifes. Checks not cleared yet...

Any idea how long it takes for a decision once it has been assigned to an officer?
My wife's case was assigned to an officer on Aug 11th.
in my case iwas exactly 3 weeks.
Someone else mentioned on this forum that the officer will clear all the cases assigned to him/her within 30 days.

I don't know what to say, I have been thinking all day about what you may be going through.
Then I thought of what I would do if I were in your situation... I thought of people like Lance Amstrong and many others who have battled hard and have proven doctors wrong.
Like many here suggested, get a 2nd or 3rd opinion.
I hope and pray that you will find that inner determination to fight back.
We are all behind you!

You can quit after six months and then if taken to a court of law, you can tell the court that the employer refused to give you employment letter and under duress, you were forced to sign the letter. Your other option was to pack bags and leave the country if the employer did not give you the letter. And you can argue that the law lets you change employer after 180 days and hence you are not breaking the law. You can also argue that if the employer had not acted in bad faith by refusing to give you employment letter, you would have continued to work for the employer.
Ofcourse, you will need a very good lawyer if you want to fight the case on moral grounds (because it may be more expensive to fight the case than just pay the amount agreed to in the letter).

If you or any one else is planning to move forward with some plans for helping EB3 folks, expect some serious opposition to your efforts. Many EB3 folks themselves do not see any need for EB3 only actions.
A bunch of us talked to a lawyer regarding the INA and the initial reaction was not very encouraging. The lawyer was suggesting us to convert to EB2.
Hilarious.... Hilarious.....
1) EB2 with PD like 2007 and 2008 will certainly oppose. It is understandable. But why many EB3 folks themselves oppose it? Because they are with "looser mentality". EB3 folks, listen! No body cares about you. Then why do you care about other categories. Don't be a looser. Take care of your problem first.
2) The lawyer was suggesting us to convert to EB2. You bet. Dont you know why?
Most of the EB2 got their GC. The only loosers are EB3. With IV's reach it can easily help EB3. I told this many times before. But IV core is saying it will be very hard to even do a simplest releif measure. I simply do not understand. I hope and pray IV core will listen this time.
