Hi,
I got my EAD today...Even i received my EAD also...Mine is sent to NSC on july 2nd...I received EAD's from Texas Center...I think my application was transferred to Texas...I have approved I-140 from Texas...Are receipt numbers for EAD, 485, AP are in serial? I haven't received receipts yet...I filled G-28...my attorney did not receive my receipts...I don't know what is going on...

Try to lift one single crab from a vessel full of crabs, other crabs will try their best to pull that one back. Same mentality is at play here - if I don't get it nobody else should get it. Don't you guys feel shamed to act so self-centered and selfish like crabs?

Do you know why crabs have this instinct? It is a group instinct that through natural selection propagated due to the fact that various predators would slowly pick away at clusters of crabs.
This group instinct (resisting the removal of an individual member) resulted in slightly fewer crabs becoming shark/octopus/otter/etc. meals amongst the groups that exhibited this behavior. These "grab back" groups were slightly more successful than those that "let 'em go" and consequently this particular trait (over many millennia) became well established in the larger gene pool.

I received FP notices for myself and spouse on Saturday, Dec 22 for FP at the Charlotte office on Jan 11.

My case transferred from TSC to VSC to TSC, I am from charlotte too. Did you had to do anything to get FP? My application reached USCIS on august 3rd. We got all except FP.

ADIT - Alien Documentation, Identification & Telecommunications System (ADIT Photo's no longer used by the USCIS )
ADIT refers to biometrics. What the approval notice is stating is that you will get your GC within 60 days or when you complete any ADIT processing that still needs to occur.
Some people are getting their GC approved without an up to date ADIT file. So the application is approved and an ADIT request is made. Once you complete it, they send you the card.
The old I-551 stamp was also refered to as an ADIT stamp, but I don't think that's what they are refering to here.
Don't worry about it, it's the standard message.

My priorty date is 17th Jan 2003 Eb3(2)-India.
485 filed on 31st july 2007.
I also got a lud on my I-140 on 27th of july 2008. It is an approved I-140.
Has anyone else gotten a lud on their I-140 also ?

I know you don't want us to use paypal - but I think that might be delaying lot of contributions.
Here is my case - I have a very hectic work schedule -so by the time I go home I forget to write and send a check. If I could do paypal then would be no problem as I can do from any where - work - from phone - anywhere.
Just a thought.. I have been planning to send $50 or so but kept on forgetting. Don't get me wrong but telling the truth here.

1. More immigrant visas for those who are in the queue alredy(employment based)
2. Asked for easy H1B 3-year extensions like in the present law
3. Allow to file I485 without visa numbers
4. Showed how illegals are being rewarded for breaking the laws, and how the legals are being punished by current bill.
Guys, it may take a while, but do e-mails and faxes. The hardest fax to reach was sen. Reid's office.

I received my I-485/EAD/AP receipt notices from NSC, our company attorney filed petitions on august 07th 2007, USCIS receipt notice date is 09/14/2007 and attorney received receipt notices on 09/24/2007.
I am waiting for my copies, but tracking it online using the LIN numbers.
My I-140 pending at TSC on july 13th 2007, LUD on 08/12/2007 but no action after that.
I-485/EAD/AP LUD on 09/18/2007

We have received reports that Sen. Cornyn will be introducing a bill called the SKIL (Securing Knowledge Innovation and Leadership) bill on May 1st 2006. As can be guessed from the title, this bill has lots of pro-legal immigration clauses. We will make the details that we have received public once we get the permission to do so.
Though Immigration Voice is currently focussing on the Comprehensive Immigration Bill as that is hot right now, we are also closely following the PACE and SKIL bills to try and ensure that high-skilled legal immigrants can make the best of it.

I tend to disagree from you on your comment regarding a possible link between name check and FP. I think they are seperate processes and run in parallel - one does not depend on another. I've read somewhere that a guy's name check was initiated like a month before he went for his FP. He got that info from infopass appointment. Also, wouldn't the IOs mention about the pending name check if it was related to FP notice?
Regarding reaching a non TSC IO, I think is impossible since the call gets directed to TSC or NSC based on the receipt number that you key in when you call.
I agree with you that we'll end up getting the same damn letter as our friend about no appointment availabality at local ASC for our SR response. It seems to me that we have to try either the Infopass or just wait it out.
Has anyone thought about writing to ombdusman (if I spelled it correctly) about this FP notice issue or will that be not worth it?

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
Several of us have writtent to Ombudsman, Director but of no avail.
Not sure what else can be done? Any Idea? Do we have any liaison with AILA who can take up this matter.

2.Making Eb2/Eb3 current(July 2007) for the purpose of fees.
3.Substitute labors
4.Giving visa number to spouse(for example not even passed 10th standard) of EB2 applicant , instead of EB3 qualified candidate(for example Computer Science Graduate from reputed universities)
